Frequently asked questions

Do BluChic themes work on WordPress.com?

No, BluChic Themes only work on self-hosted WordPress which can be downloaded from WordPress.org. You’ll need a domain name and hosting account first.

Is it possible to upload my own logo to replace the Emerald logo?

Yes, possible. Photoshop file of the header is included in the purchase so you can choose to edit the logo designed for your theme package or upload your own logo. Here’s the documentation on how to upload header logo.

Can the theme also be customizable as a blog instead of a website? So that my blog entries are on the front page?

Yes, you can use our theme as a website or blog, both will work great. It is just a matter of setting which one as the homepage in WordPress admin.

Are all of the color elements customizable?

Most of the color elements can be changed in Theme Options using Color Wheel Picker; includes social media icons, link, button, heading.

Some are images that need to be replaced; such as sidebar title’s background. While some require Custom CSS; such as page navigation.
