Ever wonder what makes a really amazing website?
Having an extraordinary website means generating more leads and attracting more visitors.
While every website is unique, there are some common elements that make up an incredible website.
In today’s post, we’ll cover those elements that make up a really amazing website and how you can make your website even better.
The whole reason we built our WordPress theme business is to help business owners just like you be able to create an amazing website without breaking the bank.
6 Elements Of A Really Amazing Website
1 | Mobile friendly / responsive
52.7% of global internet users access the internet via mobile, and 75.1% of U.S. internet users access the internet via mobile (source) which means your website has to be mobile-friendly. These statistics are only looking to increase so if you have any interest in growing your audience and increasing your revenue, having a mobile-friendly website is a must.
Our WordPress themes are all mobile-friendly and responsive, meaning you won’t have to worry about a thing using any of our designs!
Another important note about mobile responsiveness: Google is now punishing websites that have mobile pop-up ads. Any website that has a pop-up ad on a mobile device will now rank lower in the search results, meaning less organic traffic to your site.
If you have mobile pop-up ads, we would highly suggest deactivating them so you aren’t punished!
2 | Easy navigation
When a new visitor comes to your site, you want to make sure it is easy to navigate. It should be clear what it is that you do, and what they should do next on your site.
We recommend having 4-8 menu items on your website, as too many options can overwhelm a visitor.
As you can see below, we have 8 options that people can choose from. Most people that visit our site end up checking out our shop or our blog, which is exactly what they want them to do!

3 | Call to actions on every page
Call to actions (or CTAs) should be on every page of your website (yes, even your 404 page!).
CTAs should be used on the top fold (the top half of the screen when someone is on your site), weaved into your blog posts, as well as a sidebar (if you have one).
CTAs can include a number of things: sign up for your email newsletter, check out your products or services, follow on social media, sign up for a phone call, send me an email.
Think about what you want a website visitor to do after they’ve looked at your site and like what they see.

4 | A beautiful design that accurately represents your brand
Of course, a beautiful design is an element of a really amazing website! The design is what I, Kathie, love best. My husband is the developer extraordinaire behind the Bluchic brand (which is also important. More on that below!).
The first thing that a new visitor sees when visiting your website are the visuals and if your design isn’t sending the right message and representing your brand accurately, you could lose trust and credibility with your readers.
Let us help you out if you’re looking for a new theme. Our WordPress theme shop is full of various designs perfect for solopreneurs, bloggers, online shop owners, and more!

Like I mentioned above, my husband is the developer behind the Bluchic themes. He’s the one that makes sure everything functions correctly and is able to be used by all of you lovely people out there.
Without a functioning website, people won’t stay on long.
The design and function of the website need to work together to create the most impressive website.

6 | Great content
You can have the best design in the world, but if you aren’t leading traffic to your website it won’t matter much. That’s where creating great content comes into play.
Whether you’re writing blog posts, sharing videos, or podcasting you need to be creating some time of regular content to continuously drive people back to your site.
Relevant topics that are related to your niche are what will do best to drive traffic to your site.
Our popular topics include:
– WordPress
– Online Shop
– Business
– Website Tips
Also sharing content regularly on your site will increase your SEO rankings, placing you higher in the search results.
While those topics mentioned above are popular for us, you will need to research to see what type of content resonates best with your audience.
Final Thoughts
Once you include these six elements on your website you are bound to increase your traffic and revenue. Some of these things take time, so don’t get discouraged if you don’t start seeing an immediate impact. Running a business is full of ups and downs, but it’s a wild ride we’re willing to take!
